NAPA — October 26, 2026. Residents of Napa’s Westwood neighborhood should watch for temporary street closures this week while crews grind and pave several interior neighborhood roads. The city lists Archer Avenue, Cornwall Avenue, Harrison Avenue and Homewood Avenue for construction between Monday, October 26, and Friday, October 30.
What residents should expect
The October 23 official update warns of street closures during grinding and paving operations. The bulletin does not state that all four streets will be impassable continuously for five days or identify the exact hour each street will close. Households should follow signs and instructions from crews for access to driveways, deliveries and travel to school or work.
Drivers should avoid parking in a posted temporary no-parking zone, give construction equipment additional space and be prepared for alternative routes. The affected roads are part of the Westwood neighborhood; the announcement should not be misconstrued as the closure of all Napa city streets.

Street work can shift with weather and surface conditions. People who rely on scheduled pickups or mobility assistance should contact city Public Works if a particular address has access needs. The citywide roadwork bulletin also lists projects on Lincoln Avenue, Laurel Street and Gesford Street during the same period.
