NAPA — October 26, 2026. The City of Napa has announced two different neighborhood paving schedules this week. Drivers on Gesford Street should anticipate construction on October 26–27, while Terrace Drive is listed for work on October 28–29.
Gesford Street: Monday and Tuesday
The city plans paving on Gesford Street between Old Sonoma Road and the north end, with flaggers directing traffic during work hours. The release does not identify a continuous 24-hour full closure, so residents should treat the notice as a traffic-control warning and follow workers’ instructions.
Terrace Drive: Wednesday and Thursday
Later in the week, crews plan to pave Terrace Drive between Coombsville Road and Shurtleff Avenue. Flaggers are expected to manage vehicles during active work. Because the projects affect different neighborhoods on different days, drivers should not infer that the same traffic detour applies to both roads.
Weather and field conditions may change the order of work or length of restrictions. The city has not supplied a guaranteed individual driveway-access schedule in its public newsletter. Commuters, transit users and nearby residents should observe temporary signs and contact public works for location-specific access concerns.
